A note on the painting.

This piece began as a meditation on Easter morning — the moment before the women understood what they were seeing. The stone is no longer a barrier; it has been moved, gently, by hands not their own.

Painted in soft layered washes to keep the paper glowing through. The greens at the threshold are the smallest detail and the most important — new life, already beginning.
