The Scripture Studies began as a personal practice during a season when the studio bench needed something steadying. Each piece in the collection sits with a single object — held, touched, or carried by real people in a real story — and tries to render it without sentimentality, just attention.
The pieces are painted in the same loose, layered watercolor style that runs through the rest of the studio's work. The intention is reverence, not commentary.
